Speakeasy, Inc. was a broadband internet service provider and voice over IP carrier based in Seattle, Washington, United States. Their terms of service described liberal usage policies for home users allowing subscribers to run any number of servers and allowing them to resell their connectivity to others through a service called "NetShare". They received press coverage for their support of Linux and BSD-derivative operating systems, and were reportedly the first provider to offer a customized version of Mozilla Firefox to customers, in January 2005. How to configure Speakeasy.net
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Mail Settings
- Choose the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not support both options. Please refer to the table below for possible protocols.
- IMAP will keep the emails on the server, but it will keep a cached copy on your device. IMAP is recommended for most users.
- POP3 downloads the mails from the server and it will keep them on your Android device.
- Type in the passphrase for your e-mail account and click Next.
- Please refer to the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
- Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
Settings Needed for Sending Mail (via SMTP)
- After you enter the configuration, tap Next.
- Enable Require sign-in
- Refer to the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
