Configuring T-com.ri for an Android Device

With this post we will simply teach you how to setup T-com.ri using POP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a straightforward language!

Setting up T-com.ri:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Email Server Configuration

  1. Choose the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not support both! Refer to the information below for available settings.
    • IMAP stores the e-mails on the server, but it will show a cached copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
    • POP3 downloads the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
  2. Enter the password for the e-mail address and tap Next.
  3. Please use the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
  4. Now click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Settings Required for Sending Email

  1. After you type in the settings, you can tap Next.
  2. Select Require sign-in
  3. Refer to the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
  4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.
