Configuring Telusplanet.net for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Configuring Telusplanet.net:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Required for Receiving Mail

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services provide both options! You may want to refer to the information below for possible settings.
   • IMAP protocol stores the e-mails on the server, and it will display a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended protocol in almost all cases.
   • POP3 downloads the mails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
2. Enter the password for the mail address and tap Next.
3. Please see the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

1. After you enter the settings, you can click Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the table below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
