How to configure Upcpoczta.pl for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

With this post we will simply demonstrate configuring Upcpoczta.pl with IMAP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple language.

Configuring Upcpoczta.pl:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Required for Receiving Mail

  1. Choose the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services provide both options. Please see the information below for the correct settings.
    • IMAP protocol stores the emails on the server and it will display a cached copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
    • POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
  2. Type in the password for your email address and tap Next.
  3. Refer to the following information to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Outgoing Mail Server Configuration (via SMTP)

  1. After you enter the settings, you can click Next.
  2. Turn on Require sign-in
  3. Please use the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
  4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
