How to set up Westnet.com.au for your Android Tablet

How to setup Westnet.com.au

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Settings

  1. Select the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both. Please see the table below for the correct parameters.
    • IMAP stores the e-mails on the server and it will show a cached copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol for most users.
    • POP3 downloads the emails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
  2. Enter the passphrase for your mail account and tap Next.
  3. Please see the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Now click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

  1. Once the parameters are typed in, tap Next.
  2. Enable Require sign-in
  3. Refer to the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
  4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
