How to configure Xfinity.com for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

How to configure Xfinity.com:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Server Setup

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not provide both options. Refer to the table below for possible protocols.
   • IMAP protocol stores the e-mails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for almost all users.
   • POP3 will download the e-mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
2. Type in the passphrase for your e-mail address and tap Next.
3. Please refer to the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing E-mail Server Configuration

1. Once the parameters are typed in, click Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Refer to the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
