How to configure Xfinity.com for your iPhone

How to configure Xfinity.com:

Mail app may find your settings automatically and set up your account. Follow these steps in order to try:

1. Go to Settings > Mail, then click Accounts.
2. Tap Add Account, then Other then tap Add Mail Account.
3. Enter your name, your email address, password then a description for your account.
4. Click Next. Mail should try to find the mail parameters and complete your account setup. If the Mail app finds your e-mail configuration, tap Done to finish your setup.

In case Mail can't find your e-mail configuration, then you have to enter them manually. You may find the following info useful:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Select either IMAP or POP for your new account If you aren't sure which one to opt for, contact Xfinity.com
2. Type in the required details (You will refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
3. If the e-mail settings are correct, click Save to finish . If your e-mail setup is incorrect, you'll be asked to edit them
4. In case you still aren't able to setup the email account or store your email settings, contact the provider.
