Configuring Yahoo.cl for your iPhone

First, a few words about Yahoo.cl:

Yahoo! Mail is an email service launched on October 8, 1997, by the American company Yahoo, Inc. It offers four different email plans: three for personal use (Basic, Plus, and Ad Free) and another for businesses. As of January 2020, Yahoo! Mail has 225 million users. Users are able to access and manage their mailboxes using webmail interface, accessible using a standard web browser. Some accounts also supported the use of standard mail protocols (POP3 and SMTP). How to configure Yahoo.cl:

Mail app may find your e-mail parameters itself, and configure your account. Apply these steps to try:

1. Go to Settings > Mail, then click Accounts
2. Click Add Account, tap Other, and tap Add Mail Account
3. Type in your name, your email address, password and a description for your account
4. Tap Next. Mail should try to find the mail settings and finish your account setup. If the Mail app finds the email configuration, click Done to finish your account setup.

In case Mail hasn't been able to find your e-mail configuration, it means that you have to enter them manually. You may find the following info useful:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Select either IMAP or POP for your new account If you don't know which one to choose, contact Yahoo.cl.
2. Enter the details (You might refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
3. If the email setup is correct, tap Save to complete . If the mail settings are incorrect, you will be asked to edit those settings
4. In case you still aren't able to set up your email account, or store your settings, contact Yahoo.cl.
