How to configure Yahoo.com.mx for your iPhone

What is Yahoo.com.mx:

Yahoo! Mail is an email service launched on October 8, 1997, by the American company Yahoo, Inc. It offers four different email plans: three for personal use (Basic, Plus, and Ad Free) and another for businesses. As of January 2020, Yahoo! Mail has 225 million users. Users are able to access and manage their mailboxes using webmail interface, accessible using a standard web browser. Some accounts also supported the use of standard mail protocols (POP3 and SMTP). How to setup Yahoo.com.mx:

Mail app may find your e-mail parameters automatically, then configure your account. Follow these steps first to try:

1. Go to Settings > Mail, then click Accounts
2. Tap Add Account > Other, and tap Add Mail Account.
3. Type in your name (can be any name), email address, password then a description for your account.
4. Click Next. Mail should now try and find the mail settings and finish your account setup. If the Mail app finds your email configuration, click Done to finish your account setup.

In case Mail can't automatically set up your account, then you will need to enter them manually. I think you will find the following info useful:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Select either IMAP or POP for your new account If you don't know which one to opt for, contact Yahoo.com.mx.
2. Enter the details (You will want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
3. If the mail configuration is correct, tap Save to complete the setup. If your mail settings are incorrect, you will be asked to edit those settings.
