History of Yahoo.es:

Yahoo! Mail is an email service launched on October 8, 1997, by the American company Yahoo, Inc. It offers four different email plans: three for personal use (Basic, Plus, and Ad Free) and another for businesses. As of January 2020, Yahoo! Mail has 225 million users. Users are able to access and manage their mailboxes using webmail interface, accessible using a standard web browser. Some accounts also supported the use of standard mail protocols (POP3 and SMTP). Since 2015, users can also connect non-Yahoo e-mail accounts to the webmail client. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yahoo!_Mail

Setting up Yahoo.es:

It is possible that the Mail app will find the parameters itself, then set up your account. Follow these steps in order to see if it can:

  1. Open Settings, then Mail, and tap Accounts
  2. Tap Add Account > Other, then tap Add Mail Account
  3. Enter your name (can be any name), your email address, your password with a description for account.
  4. Click Next. Mail will try to find the mail parameters and set up your account. If Mail finds your e-mail settings, click Done to complete your account setup.

If Mail didn't automatically set up your account, it means that you will need to enter them manually. I think you will find the following information useful:

Incoming E-mail Server (IMAP) Setup

Server Hostnameimap.mail.yahoo.com
Server Port993
UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)
AuthenticationPassword
SSL/TLSYes

Outgoing E-mail Server Setup

Server Hostnamesmtp.mail.yahoo.com
Server Port465
UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)
AuthenticationPassword
SSL/TLSYes

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Choose either IMAP or POP. If you are not sure which one to select, contact Yahoo.es.
  2. Type in the required information (You will want to have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next
  3. If the email settings are correct, tap Save to complete the setup. If the email setup is incorrect, Mail will ask you to modify the configuration
  4. In case you still aren't able to set up the account, or save the e-mail settings, contact your provider.
