How to set up Yahoo.in for your Android Phone

Yahoo! Mail is an email service launched on October 8, 1997, by the American company Yahoo, Inc. It offers four different email plans: three for personal use (Basic, Plus, and Ad Free) and another for businesses. As of January 2020, Yahoo! Mail has 225 million users. Users are able to access and manage their mailboxes using webmail interface, accessible using a standard web browser. Some accounts also supported the use of standard mail protocols (POP3 and SMTP). How to set up Yahoo.in:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Configuration

1. Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services support both protocols. Refer to the table below for available protocols.
   • IMAP will storeԹԳӽՀԤӿՋԏԚӘӕԭӣӖԩՆՒӫӯөӢԜӛӥՉӧԖӝՇԕwill keepԹԳӽՀԤӿՋԏԚӘӕԭӣӖԩՆՒӫӯөӢԜӛӥՉӧԖӝՇԕstores the emails on the server, and it will display a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
   • POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
2. Enter the passphrase for your mail account and click Next.
3. Please refer to the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

1. Once the parameters are typed in, you can tap Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
