How to configure Yandex.com.tr for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

With this post we will teach you how to setup Yandex.com.tr with SMTP and IMAP for your Android Device in a straightforward language.

First, a few words about Yandex.com.tr:

Yandex N.V. is a multinational corporation primarily for Russian and Russian-language users, providing 70 Internet-related products and services, including transportation, search and information services, e-commerce, navigation, mobile applications, and online advertising. Setting up Yandex.com.tr:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Required for Receiving Email

  1. Choose the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both protocols. Refer to the table below for available settings.
    • IMAP will store the emails on the server but it will keep a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in almost all cases.
    • POP3 downloads the emails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
  2. Type the passphrase for the e-mail address and click Next.
  3. Refer to the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Settings Required for Sending E-mail (via SMTP)

  1. Once the parameters are entered, click Next.
  2. Check Require sign-in
  3. Please see the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
  4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
