
How to configure Yandex.com.tr for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)
With this post we will teach you how to setup Yandex.com.tr with SMTP and IMAP for your Android Device in a straightforward language.
First, a few words about Yandex.com.tr:
Yandex N.V. is a multinational corporation primarily for Russian and Russian-language users, providing 70 Internet-related products and services, including transportation, search and information services, e-commerce, navigation, mobile applications, and online advertising. Setting up Yandex.com.tr:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Setup Required for Receiving Email
- Choose the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both protocols. Refer to the table below for available settings.
- IMAP will store the emails on the server but it will keep a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in almost all cases.
- POP3 downloads the emails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
- Type the passphrase for the e-mail address and click Next.
- Refer to the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Settings Required for Sending E-mail (via SMTP)
- Once the parameters are entered, click Next.
- Check Require sign-in
- Please see the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
