Configuring Ymail.com

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Server Settings

  1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services provide both. Please see the information below for possible protocols.
    • IMAP keeps the e-mails on the server, but it will display a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in most cases.
    • POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
  2. Type in the passphrase for your e-mail account and click Next.
  3. Please use the following information to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Click Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
