How to set up Cegetel.Net for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Configuring Cegetel.Net

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Configuration Needed for Receiving Mail

1. Select the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services support both protocols! You may want to check out the information below for possible parameters.
   • IMAP keeps the emails on the server, and it will keep a cached copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting for most users.
   • POP3 will download the emails from the remote server and it will keep them on your device.
2. Enter the passphrase for your email account and tap Next.
3. Please see the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Configuration Needed for Sending Mail (via SMTP)

1. Once the settings are typed in, click Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Please see the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
