How to set up Homecall.Co.Uk for an Android Phone
In this blog I will try to teach you how to setup Homecall.Co.Uk using SMTP and POP and IMAP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a straightforward language.

Configuring Homecall.Co.Uk
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Email Setup
- Select the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not support both options. Please see the table below for available settings.
- IMAP will store the e-mails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
- POP3 will download the emails from the server and it will keep them on your Android device.
- Type the password for the e-mail address and click Next.
- Refer to the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
- Now tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Outgoing E-mail Server Settings
- After you type in the settings, click Next.
- Select Require sign-in
- Refer to the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Now click Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually smtp.HOMECALL.CO.UK or mail.HOMECALL.CO.UK) |
