In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. The company was acquired by Opera Software in 2010 but became independent again in 2013 through a staff buyout. Its servers are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey and Seattle, Washington. Setting up fastemailer.com

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Configuration

  1. Select the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not support both. You may want to see the information below for possible settings.
    • IMAP will keep the mails on the server and it will display a copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
    • POP3 downloads the e-mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
  2. Type the password for the email account and tap Next.
  3. Use the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

  1. Once the parameters are filled in, tap Next.
  2. Check Require sign-in
  3. Refer to the table below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
  4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
