Configuring Tinyonline.Co.Uk for an Android Phone
With this blog I will try to explain configuring Tinyonline.Co.Uk using SMTP and POP and IMAP for your Android Phone in a simple language.

Configuring Tinyonline.Co.Uk
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Setup Needed for Receiving Mail
- Choose the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not support both! Refer to the table below for possible protocols.
- IMAP protocol keeps the mails on the server but it will display a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended setting for almost all users.
- POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will keep them on your device.
- Type the passphrase for the mail address and click Next.
- Use the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
- Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually pop.TINYONLINE.CO.UK or mail.TINYONLINE.CO.UK) |

Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |

Settings Needed for Receiving Email using IMAP
Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually imap.TINYONLINE.CO.UK or mail.TINYONLINE.CO.UK) |
Server Port | 993 |
Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Try Both |
Settings Needed for Sending Email
- Once the settings are typed in, tap Next.
- Enable Require sign-in
- Refer to the table below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
- Tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually smtp.TINYONLINE.CO.UK or mail.TINYONLINE.CO.UK) |
Server Port | Usually 25 or 587 |
Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |
