How to set up Viva.Com.Kw for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)
In this post we will explain configuring Viva.Com.Kw using SMTP and POP and IMAP for your Android Tablet in an easy to follow way.

Setting up Viva.Com.Kw:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Mail Server Setup
- Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both options. Refer to the table below for the correct settings.
- IMAP protocol keeps the mails on the server and it will display a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
- POP3 will download the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your Android device.
- Type the password for your mail address and tap Next.
- Please refer to the table below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually pop.VIVA.COM.KW or mail.VIVA.COM.KW) |

Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) Setup
Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually imap.VIVA.COM.KW or mail.VIVA.COM.KW) |
Server Port | 993 |
Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Try Both |
Outgoing E-mail Server Configuration
- Once the parameters are entered, click Next.
- Turn on Require sign-in
- Please see the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
- Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually smtp.VIVA.COM.KW or mail.VIVA.COM.KW) |
Server Port | Usually 25 or 587 |
Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |
