Configuring Online.no for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Setting up Online.no:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Configuration Required for Receiving Email

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services provide both! You may want to refer to the information below for possible protocols.
   • IMAP protocol keeps the emails on the server, but it will keep a copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will store them on your device.
2. Enter the passphrase for your email account and click Next.
3. Please use the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Setup Required for Receiving E-mail with POP

Settings Needed for Sending Mail

1. Once the settings are typed in, you can click Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
