Setting up Wbhsi.Net for an Android Tablet
In this blog I will simply explain configuring Wbhsi.Net using SMTP and POP and IMAP for your Android Tablet in an easy to follow language.

Setting up Wbhsi.Net
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Email Configuration
- Select the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both options! Refer to the information below for possible settings.
- IMAP protocol stores the mails on the server and it will keep a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
- POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will keep them on your device.
- Type the password for your mail account and click Next.
- Please use the following information to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Now tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
Incoming E-mail (POP) Setup
Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually pop.WBHSI.net or mail.WBHSI.net) |
Server Port | 110 |
Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Try Both |
Incoming E-mail (IMAP) Setup
Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually imap.WBHSI.net or mail.WBHSI.net) |
Server Port | 993 |
Username | Your e-mail address (i.e. [email protected]) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Try Both |
Outgoing E-mail Setup
- Once the settings are filled in, click Next.
- Turn on Require sign-in
- Please refer to the table below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
Server Hostname | The hostname given by your service provider (usually smtp.WBHSI.net or mail.WBHSI.net) |
