Setting up Core.com for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)
In this article I will summarize how to configure Core.com with POP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a straightforward language!

Configuring Core.com:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Settings Required for Receiving Mail
- Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services provide both options. Please see the information below for available protocols.
- IMAP protocol will store the e-mails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
- POP3 will download the e-mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your device.
- Type the password for the email address and tap Next.
- Please see the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
- Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Outgoing Mail Server Configuration (via SMTP)
- After you type the parameters, you can click Next.
- Enable Require sign-in
- Please see the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
