Configuring Activ8.net.au for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

How to configure Activ8.net.au

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Needed for Receiving E-mail

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not provide both protocols! Refer to the table below for possible parameters.
   • IMAP keeps the emails on the server but it will show a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for most users.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android phone.
2. Type in the password for your email account and tap Next.
3. Refer to the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

1. Once the settings are typed in, click Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Use the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
