Configuring Activ8.net.au for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

How to configure Activ8.net.au

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Needed for Receiving E-mail

1. Choose the type of mailԨԹӲԊӥԼՏՖԱԇԐӕԄԢՇӭ՗ՀՌԁӤԬӝԮӜԺԓӵԝԩemailԨԹӲԊӥԼՏՖԱԇԐӕԄԢՇӭ՗ՀՌԁӤԬӝԮӜԺԓӵԝԩe-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both protocols! Please see the table below for possible protocols.
   • IMAP protocol will keep the emails on the server, but it will display a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol for most users.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will keep them on your Android device.
2. Type in the passphrase for the e-mail account and click Next.
3. Please refer to the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Incoming Mail (POP) Configuration

Outgoing E-mail Server Settings (using SMTP)

1. Once the settings are typed in, click Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Use the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
