Configuring Apple.com for an Android Tablet
With this post we will teach you how to set up Apple.com with IMAP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple way!

What is Apple.com:
Apple is the largest information technology company by revenue (totaling US$365.8 billion in 2021) and, as of January 2021, it is the world's most valuable company, the fourth-largest personal computer vendor by unit sales and second-largest mobile phone manufacturer. Setting up Apple.com:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming E-mail Configuration
- Choose the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both protocols. Please check out the information below for the correct protocols.
- IMAP will keep the emails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended setting for most users.
- POP3 will download the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your device.
- Type in the passphrase for your email account and click Next.
- Please see the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
- Tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Outgoing E-mail Settings (via SMTP)
- After you type in the settings, you can tap Next.
- Select Require sign-in
- Please use the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Now click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
