
Configuring Att.net for an Android Tablet
With this blog I will simply teach you configuring Att.net using IMAP and SMTP for your Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a straightforward way.

Configuring Att.net
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
 - In the top right, tap your profile picture.
 - Tap Add another account.
 - Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
 - If you don't see your email service, select Other.
 
 - Enter your email address and tap Next.
 
Setup Needed for Receiving Mail
- Choose the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both options! Refer to the information below for available parameters.
- IMAP stores the e-mails on the server and it will display a copy on your device. IMAP is recommended for most users.
 - POP3 will download the emails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
 
 - Type the passphrase for your mail account and click Next.
 - Please see the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
 - Tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
 
Settings Needed for Receiving Email with IMAP

Settings Needed for Sending Email (using SMTP)
- After you enter the configuration, click Next.
 - Turn on Require sign-in
 - Use the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
 - Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
