How to configure 139.com for an Android Device
With this blog I will explain how to setup 139.com using IMAP and SMTP for your Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a straightforward fashion.

Configuring 139.com:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming Mail Settings
- Choose the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both options! Refer to the table below for available settings.
- IMAP protocol keeps the e-mails on the server, but it will show a copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
- POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will store them on your device.
- Enter the passphrase for your e-mail address and click Next.
- Please see the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
- Now click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Outgoing E-mail Configuration (using SMTP)
- After you type in the parameters, tap Next.
- Enable Require sign-in
- Please refer to the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Server Port | 465 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
