How to configure 139.com for an Android Device

Configuring 139.com:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Mail Settings

1. Choose the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both options! Refer to the table below for available settings.
   • IMAP protocol keeps the e-mails on the server, but it will show a copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will store them on your device.
2. Enter the passphrase for your e-mail address and click Next.
3. Please see the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Setup Required for Receiving Email with IMAP

Outgoing E-mail Configuration (using SMTP)

1. After you type in the parameters, tap Next.
2. Enable Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
