Setting up Attworld.com for an Android Phone

In this article I will try to teach you configuring Attworld.com using IMAP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple fashion!

Configuring Attworld.com:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving Mail

  1. Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not provide both options! Refer to the information below for possible settings.
    • IMAP protocol keeps the emails on the server but it will keep a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in most cases.
    • POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will store them on your Android device.
  2. Enter the passphrase for the email address and click Next.
  3. Use the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Configuration Required for Sending Email (using SMTP)

  1. Once the settings are typed in, click Next.
  2. Turn on Require sign-in
  3. Use the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
  4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
