Setting up Attworld.com for an Android Phone

In this article I will try to teach you configuring Attworld.com using IMAP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple fashion!

Configuring Attworld.com:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving Mail

  1. Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not provide both options! Please see the information below for possible settings.
    • IMAP keeps the mails on the server, and it will keep a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol for most users.
    • POP3 will download the e-mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android phone.
  2. Type in the password for the mail account and tap Next.
  3. Please see the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
  4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.

Configuration Required for Sending Email (using SMTP)

  1. Once the settings are typed in, click Next.
  2. Turn on Require sign-in
  3. Use the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
  4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.
