How to configure Pei.sympatico.ca

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Needed for Receiving E-mail

1. Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not support both protocols! Please check out the table below for the correct protocols.
   • IMAP will store the mails on the server, and it will keep a cached copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
   • POP3 downloads the mails from the remote server and it will keep them on your device.
2. Type in the passphrase for your mail account and click Next.
3. Use the following information in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing E-mail Settings (using SMTP)

1. Once the settings are typed in, tap Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Use the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.
