How to set up Bendbroadband.com for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

In this blog we will simply demonstrate setting up Bendbroadband.com using POP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple way!

Setting up Bendbroadband.com

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Needed for Receiving Email

  1. Select the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services support both protocols! Please refer to the table below for available protocols.
    • IMAP stores the emails on the server, but it will keep a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended protocol for almost all users.
    • POP3 will download the e-mails from the server and it will store them on your Android device.
  2. Enter the passphrase for your e-mail account and tap Next.
  3. Please use the following information in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
  4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.

Incoming Mail (POP) Configuration

Outgoing Mail Configuration (via SMTP)

  1. Once the parameters are filled in, you can tap Next.
  2. Check Require sign-in
  3. Use the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
  4. Now click Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.
