Configuring Mymts.net for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)
With this post I will explain how to configure Mymts.net using IMAP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in a simple way.

Setting up Mymts.net
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Setup Needed for Receiving Email
- Choose the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both options! Please refer to the information below for possible protocols.
- IMAP will store the emails on the server, and it will show a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended setting for most users.
- POP3 downloads the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android device.
- Type the passphrase for the email account and tap Next.
- Refer to the information below in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
- Tap Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Settings Needed for Sending E-mail
- After you enter the settings, click Next.
- Enable Require sign-in
- Refer to the information below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Now click Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
