Setting up Swisscom Bluewin for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

How to setup Swisscom Bluewin

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Server Settings

1. Select the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Not all services support both options! Refer to the information below for the correct parameters.
   • IMAP protocol will store the mails on the server, and it will show a cached copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended setting for almost all users.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
2. Type the password for the email account and click Next.
3. Use the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Setup Needed for Receiving Mail using IMAP

Outgoing Mail Configuration (using SMTP)

1. After you type in the configuration, you can tap Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Use the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
