How to configure Btinternet.com for an iOS Device

Configuring Btinternet.com

It is possible that the Mail app will find your e-mail configuration itself and configure your account. Apply the following steps first in order to find out if that is possible:

1. Go to Settings > Mail and click Accounts
2. Click Add Account, click Other then click Add Mail Account
3. Enter your name (can be any name), email address, your password then a description for account
4. Click Next. Mail should try and find the e-mail parameters and set up your account. If Mail finds the email parameter, tap Done to finish your account setup.

In case the Mail app didn't find your mail configuration, it means that you need to enter them manually. You may need the information below:

Incoming E-mail (IMAP) Settings

Outgoing E-mail Settings (via SMTP)

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Select IMAP or POP If you are not certain which one to select, contact Btinternet.com
2. Type in the information (You will want to take a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
3. If your e-mail settings are correct, click Save to finish . If your e-mail configuration is incorrect, the app will ask you to modify the configuration
4. In case you still can't configure the account or store the e-mail settings, contact the provider.
