Configuring Btopenworld.com for your Android Phone

Configuring Btopenworld.com:

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming Email Server Setup

  1. Choose the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not support both protocols! Refer to the information below for available settings.
    • IMAP will keep the emails on the server, and it will show a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is the recommended setting in most cases.
    • POP3 will download the emails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
  2. Type the password for the e-mail address and tap Next.
  3. Refer to the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Outgoing Mail Server Settings (via SMTP)

  1. After you type in the parameters, you can click Next.
  2. Select Require sign-in
  3. Please use the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
  4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.
