Configuring iCable

Mail can find the configuration automatically and complete setting up your account. Follow the following steps to try:

  1. Open Settings, then Mail and tap Accounts
  2. Tap Add Account > Other then click Add Mail Account.
  3. Type your name, email address, your password with a description for account.
  4. Tap Next. The Mail app will try to find the mail configuration and complete setting your account. If Mail finds your email settings, tap Done to complete your account setup.

If the Mail app didn't find your email parameters, it means that you will need to enter them manually. We think you will find the following info useful:

Incoming Mail (POP) Configuration

Server Hostnamemail.I-cable.com
Server Port110
UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)
AuthenticationPassword
SSL/TLSNo

Configuration Needed for Sending Email (via SMTP)

Server Hostnamesmtp.I-cable.com
Server Port25
UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)
AuthenticationPassword

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Choose IMAP or POP. If you don't know which one to opt for, contact iCable
  2. Type in the details (You might take a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next
  3. If the e-mail settings are correct, click Save to finish . If the mail setup is incorrect, the Mail app will ask you to modify them.
  4. In case you still can't set up the account or save the settings, contact the email provider.
