How to set up Chartertn.net for your iPad/iPhone

Setting up Chartertn.net

Mail may find your settings itself then set up your account. Apply the following steps first to see if it will:

1. Open Settings, then Mail, and click Accounts.
2. Click Add Account > Other then click Add Mail Account
3. Type in your name (can be any name), email address, your password and a description for account.
4. Tap Next. The Mail app should try to find the e-mail configuration and complete your account setup. If Mail finds your e-mail settings, click Done to complete your account setup.

If Mail didn't find your mail parameters, then you need to enter them yourself. I think you may find the following table useful:

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Choose either IMAP or POP If you don't know which one to select, contact Chartertn.net
2. Type in the information (You may want to take a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next
3. If your mail settings are correct, click Save to complete . If the e-mail configuration is incorrect, you will be asked to modify them
4. In case you still can't configure the email account or save your settings, contact Chartertn.net.
