Setting up China Unicom:

It is possible that Mail will find your e-mail parameters automatically, then complete setting up your account. Follow the following steps in order to try:

  1. Go to Settings > Mail, then click Accounts
  2. Tap Add Account, then Other, and click Add Mail Account.
  3. Type in your name, email address, your password with a description for your account.
  4. Click Next. The Mail app will now try to find the mail settings and set up your account. If Mail finds your email settings, click Done to finish your setup.

In case Mail can't automatically set up your account, then you will need to enter them yourself. I think you may find the following information useful:

  2. Type the details (You may refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
  3. If the email settings are correct, tap Save to finish the setup. If the mail configuration is incorrect, you'll be asked to modify the configuration.
