Configuring Pchome.com.tw for your iPhone

With this article we will simply demonstrate setting up Pchome.com.tw using POP and SMTP in a straightforward way.

How to configure Pchome.com.tw:

Mail app may find your email parameters itself, then set up your account. Apply the following steps first to see if it will:

  1. Go to Settings > Mail, then click Accounts.
  2. Click Add Account > Other then click Add Mail Account
  3. Enter your name, your email address, password then a description for your account.
  4. Click Next. The Mail app should now try and find the e-mail parameters and finish your account setup. If Mail finds your email configuration, click Done to complete your account setup.

In case Mail hasn't been able to automatically set up your account, it means that you will need to enter them manually. We think you may need the following information:

Incoming E-mail Server (POP) Setup

UsernameYour username (do not include the part after the @ sign)
AuthenticationPassword
SSL/TLSNo

Outgoing Mail Configuration

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

  1. Select either IMAP or POP for your new account If you don't know which one to choose, contact Pchome.com.tw
  2. Type in the information (You will refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
  3. If the mail settings are correct, click Save to complete the setup. If your e-mail configuration is incorrect, you will be asked to edit them.
  4. In case you still aren't able to setup the account, or save your e-mail settings, contact Pchome.com.tw.
