How to set up Claro Paraguay for an Android Device

Configuring Claro Paraguay:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving Mail

1. Select the type of mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not provide both protocols. Please check out the table below for possible parameters.
   • IMAP will store the emails on the server, and it will show a copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for most users.
   • POP3 will download the e-mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android phone.
2. Type the passphrase for your email address and click Next.
3. Please use the following table to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.

Incoming E-mail Server (POP) Settings

Outgoing E-mail Server Settings (via SMTP)

1. After you type the parameters, click Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Please see the following information to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
