How to set up Cox.net for your iOS Device

Configuring Cox.net:

Mail may find the settings automatically then set up your account. Apply these steps first to try:

1. Open Settings, then Mail, and tap Accounts.
2. Tap Add Account, then Other and tap Add Mail Account
3. Enter your name (can be any name), email address, password and a description for account.
4. Tap Next. Mail will try to find the e-mail settings and finish setting your account. If Mail finds the e-mail settings, tap Done to finish your setup.

If Mail didn't find your email parameters, then you will need to enter them yourself. I think you may find the table below useful:

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) Configuration

Configuration Needed for Sending Mail (using SMTP)

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Choose either IMAP or POP. If you aren't sure which one to opt for, contact Cox.net
2. Type the required information (You will want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next
3. If your e-mail setup is correct, tap Save to finish the setup. If your mail settings are incorrect, you will be asked to modify the configuration
4. If you still are not able to set up the account or save the settings, contact Cox.net.
