Configuring Ctaz.com:
Mail app can find your email configuration itself, and configure your account. Follow the following steps first in order to see if that is possible:
- Go to Settings > Mail then click Accounts.
- Click Add Account, click Other, then tap Add Mail Account
- Enter your name (can be any name), your email address, password then a description for your account
- Click Next. Mail should try to find the e-mail configuration and finish your account setup. If the Mail app finds your email settings, tap Done to finish your setup.
In case the Mail app hasn't been able to automatically set up your account, it means that you have to enter them manually. You will need the information below:
Incoming Mail (POP) Configuration
Server Hostname | pop3.frontier.com |
Server Port | 995 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Yes |
Outgoing Mail Configuration (via SMTP)
Server Hostname | smtp.frontier.com |
Server Port | 465 |
Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
Authentication | Password |
SSL/TLS | Yes |
Tap Next, then follow these steps:
- Select IMAP or POP for your new account If you aren't certain which one to select, contact Ctaz.com.
- Type in the required information (You will want to refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
- If the email settings are correct, tap Save to complete . If the e-mail settings are incorrect, you'll be asked to modify them.
- In case you still aren't able to setup the email account or save the e-mail settings, contact the email provider.
