Setting up ezweb.ne.jp for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

How to set up ezweb.ne.jp

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Needed for Receiving E-mail

  1. Select the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services provide both options! Please refer to the table below for possible settings.
    • IMAP protocol keeps the mails on the server but it will keep a copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
    • POP3 will download the emails from the remote server and it will store them on your device.
  2. Enter the passphrase for the mail account and click Next.
  3. Please refer to the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
  4. Click Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.

  1. Once the parameters are filled in, you can click Next.
  2. Enable Require sign-in
  3. Please refer to the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
  4. Click Next. If there is an error, click the Edit Settings button.
