Setting up Belgacom.net for your Android Device

How to setup Belgacom.net

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Configuration

1. Select the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both protocols. Please see the information below for available settings.
   • IMAP keeps the emails on the server, but it will display a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended setting in most cases.
   • POP3 will download the emails from the server and it will store them on your Android device.
2. Enter the passphrase for your email account and click Next.
3. Refer to the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Incoming E-mail (IMAP) Settings

Outgoing E-mail Settings (via SMTP)

1. Once the parameters are typed in, tap Next.
2. Check Require sign-in
3. Please see the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
