
Setting up Belgacom.net for your Android Device

How to setup Belgacom.net
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming E-mail Configuration
- Select the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will be using. Some services may not support both protocols. Please see the information below for available settings.
- IMAP keeps the emails on the server, but it will display a copy on your Android device. IMAP is the recommended setting in most cases.
- POP3 will download the emails from the server and it will store them on your Android device.
- Enter the passphrase for your email account and click Next.
- Refer to the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
- Tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Outgoing E-mail Settings (via SMTP)
- Once the parameters are typed in, tap Next.
- Check Require sign-in
- Please see the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
- Now click Next. If there is an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
