Configuring fastem.com for a Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Configuring fastem.com

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Server Settings

1. Choose the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services support both options. Refer to the information below for possible protocols.
   • IMAP protocol will store the e-mails on the server, but it will display a copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended in most cases.
   • POP3 downloads the mails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
2. Type in the passphrase for the mail account and tap Next.
3. Refer to the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Configuration

Settings Needed for Sending Email (via SMTP)

1. After you enter the configuration, you can tap Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Please see the table below to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.
