Configuring fastem.com for an iOS Device

Fastmail is an email hosting company based in Melbourne, Australia. In addition to its Fastmail-branded services, the company also operates Topicbox, a mailing list service, and Pobox, an email service it acquired in 2015. The company was acquired by Opera Software in 2010 but became independent again in 2013 through a staff buyout. Its servers are located in Bridgewater, New Jersey and Seattle, Washington. Configuring fastem.com

It is possible that the Mail app will find the email parameters itself, then set up your account. Apply these steps in order to see if that is possible:

1. Go to Settings > Mail and tap Accounts.
2. Click Add Account > Other then click Add Mail Account.
3. Type your name (can be any name), your email address, your password with a description for your account
4. Click Next. The Mail app should now try to find the e-mail configuration and set up your account. If the Mail app finds your e-mail settings, tap Done to complete your setup.

In case the Mail app didn't automatically set up your account, it means that you will need to enter them manually. You may need the following information:

Incoming Mail Server (IMAP) Setup

Outgoing E-mail Server Configuration

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Select IMAP or POP. If you don't know which one to choose, contact fastem.com
2. Type in the details (You might want to have a look at the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then tap Next.
3. If your email settings are correct, click Save to finish the setup. If the mail configuration is incorrect, you will be asked to edit them.
4. In case you still aren't able to set up your e-mail account or store the email settings, contact fastem.com.
