How to configure Frontier.com for an Android Phone

Configuring Frontier.com

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Incoming E-mail Setup

1. Choose the type of email account (POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Some services may not provide both protocols. Please see the information below for the correct parameters.
   • IMAP will store the mails on the server, but it will show a copy on your Android device. IMAP is recommended for almost all users.
   • POP3 downloads the emails from the server and it will keep them on your device.
2. Type in the passphrase for the email account and click Next.
3. Please see the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Incoming E-mail Server (POP) Settings

Outgoing Mail Configuration (via SMTP)

1. Once the settings are typed in, click Next.
2. Select Require sign-in
3. Please see the following table in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
