How to set up Live.se for an Android Tablet
In this post I will simply teach you how to set up Live.se using IMAP and SMTP for your Android Tablet in a straightforward fashion.

Configuring Live.se
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Settings Needed for Receiving Mail
- Select the type of e-mail account (POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not support both options! Refer to the table below for the correct settings.
- IMAP protocol will keep the e-mails on the server, but it will keep a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended for almost all users.
- POP3 will download the mails from the remote server and it will store them on your Android phone.
- Enter the passphrase for the e-mail account and tap Next.
- Please use the information below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Now tap Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |

Configuration Needed for Sending Email
- After you type the settings, tap Next.
- Enable Require sign-in
- Refer to the information below in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
- Click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Username | Your username (do not include the part after the @ sign) |
