
How to configure gawab.com for your Android Tablet
With this blog we will simply explain how to setup gawab.com using IMAP and SMTP for a Samsung Galaxy (Android) in an easy to follow fashion.

Configuring gawab.com:
- On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
- In the top right, tap your profile picture.
- Tap Add another account.
- Choose the type of account you want to add:
- If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
- If you don't see your email service, select Other.
- Enter your email address and tap Next.
Incoming E-mail Configuration
- Choose the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not support both options. Refer to the table below for possible parameters.
- IMAP will keep the e-mails on the server and it will display a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended setting for almost all users.
- POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will store them on your Android phone.
- Type the passphrase for your e-mail account and click Next.
- Refer to the table below to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
- Click Next. If you see an error, tap Edit Settings.

Settings Needed for Sending Mail (via SMTP)
- After you type in the parameters, tap Next.
- Select Require sign-in
- Please refer to the following information in order to complete the Outgoing Server Settings page.
- Click Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
