Setting up Ghoti.org for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

How to set up Ghoti.org:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving E-mail

1. Select the type of mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you want to use. Not all services support both options. Refer to the information below for the correct settings.
   • IMAP protocol will keep the mails on the server, and it will show a copy on your device. IMAP is the recommended protocol in most cases.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will keep them on your Android phone.
2. Enter the passphrase for the mail account and click Next.
3. Please see the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Now tap Next. If there is an error, click Edit Settings.

Incoming Mail (IMAP) Configuration

Outgoing Mail Server Settings (using SMTP)

1. After you type the parameters, you can tap Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Please see the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings settings.
4. Tap Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
