Setting up Globo.com.br for your Samsung Galaxy (Android)

Configuring Globo.com.br:

1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
3. Tap Add another account.
4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
   • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
   • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Settings Required for Receiving Mail

1. Select the type of e-mail account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Some services may not provide both! Refer to the information below for the correct settings.
   • IMAP will store the e-mails on the server but it will display a copy on your device. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.
   • POP3 will download the mails from the server and it will store them on your Android device.
2. Type in the passphrase for your mail address and tap Next.
3. Use the following table in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings.
4. Click Next. If there is an error, tap Edit Settings.

Incoming Mail Server (POP) Configuration

Configuration Required for Sending Email

1. Once the parameters are filled in, click Next.
2. Turn on Require sign-in
3. Please refer to the following table to complete the Outgoing Server Settings.
4. Now tap Next. If you see an error, tap the Edit Settings button.
