Setting up Gmx.at for an iOS Device

Configuring Gmx.at

It is possible that the Mail app will find your e-mail settings itself and set up your account. Apply the following steps in order to find out if it can:

1. Open Settings, then Mail and click Accounts
2. Tap Add Account, click Other then tap Add Mail Account
3. Type your name, your email address, password then a description for your account
4. Tap Next. The Mail app should try to find the mail settings and complete setting your account. If the Mail app finds the email configuration, tap Done to finish your setup.

If the Mail app couldn't automatically set up your account, it means that you will need to enter them yourself. I think you will need the information below:

Incoming E-mail (POP) Setup

Outgoing E-mail Setup (via SMTP)

Tap Next, then follow these steps:

1. Choose IMAP or POP If you are not sure which one to select, contact Gmx.at
2. Type in the required information (You might refer to the table above) for Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server. Then click Next.
3. If the e-mail settings are correct, tap Save to complete . If your e-mail settings are incorrect, Mail will ask you to edit the configuration
4. If you still can't configure your e-mail account or save the settings, contact your e-mail provider.
