How to configure Googlemail.com

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Gmail app.
  2. In the top right, tap your profile picture.
  3. Tap Add another account.
  4. Choose the type of account you want to add:
    • If you check work or school emails through Outlook for Windows, select Outlook, Hotmail, and Live.
    • If you don't see your email service, select Other.
  5. Enter your email address and tap Next.

Setup Needed for Receiving E-mail

  1. Choose the type of email account (either POP3 or IMAP) you will use. Not all services support both options. Refer to the table below for possible parameters.
    • IMAP protocol stores the mails on the server but it will display a cached copy on your Android phone. IMAP is recommended in almost all cases.

  2. Type the passphrase for the mail address and tap Next.
  3. Use the following information in order to complete the Incoming Server Settings page.
  4. Now click Next. If you see an error, click Edit Settings.
